The White Swan Public House, Stotfold

The White Swan Public House: 36 High Street, Stotfold

Possibly also called The Swan. The White Swan public house was located at 36 High Street Stotfold. It opened in 1830 and in 1906 was described as a roughcast and thatched house occupying a good position on the main road and containing a parlour, tap room, kitchen, cellar, pantry and 3 bedrooms, with a yard, outbuildings, garden and orchard. It was closed in 1912 and replaced with the residential Swan Villas.
