Roe's Church Bread Charity

Information taken from Victoria County History, Vol. II, 1908.

The charity was created by a deed of 1837 and gave £520 consols, augmented by a deed of 1849 to £780 consols, in trust for dividends amounting to £19.10s a year for the distribution on Sundays of six penny loaves at the parish church.
