Roe's Bread, Fuel and Clothes Charity

Information taken from Victoria County History, Vol. II, 1908.

The charity was created by a deed of 1849 and consists of £640 consols, income of £16 a year, applied usually in payment of £10 a year to a clothing club and remainder in distribution of coal irrespective of creed of recipients.
