We are the County Record Office for Bedfordshire.  Anyone may use our service and the archives we hold for research either in person or remotely.  We are based in Riverside Building, Borough Hall, Bedford.

 ** Booking an appointment **

Visiting our research room is by appointment only so please ring us on 01234 228833 or email us at archive@bedford.gov.uk. Please let us know when you wish to visit, what you wish to research and provide us with a list of document references from our online catalogue (link above).

If you have a question about Bedfordshire Archives and its holdings, please fill out our enquiry form. If you wish to request copies of documents please fill out our request for copies form.

Please do check our catalogue before sending an enquiry, as you may well be able to find the answer to your question there.
