The Crown Public House, Langford
The Crown public house was on the west side of the High Street and had a meadow attached to it which was used as the site for the annual statute fair. The building dates from the 18th century and was very important to the local community. The Enclosure Commisioners met there in the early 1800s. The building became a butchers, a hardware shop, an office equipment shop before being converted into part residential and part beauty salon.
