228 Kimbolton Road stands out in an area of entirely modern development. It is one of the lodges to Clapham Park, built in the Gothic style in 1872. The various lodges were in dark red brick with stone dressings, with a clay tiled roof. They comprised one storey and formed a T-plan with a right hand forward projecting wing which had an apse at the end. They comprised a kitchen, scullery and two bedrooms.
