Timeline of Events in Aley Green
1836: Wesleyan Chapel built. 
1886: Richard Pennington conveys land to to the Rural Sanitary Authority Guardians on 1st March 1886 for use as a cemetery. 
1917: The British Workman Beerhouse closed down. 
1940: A high explosive bomb fell in a field opposite Pipers Farm. 
1961: Henry I off-licence closes. 
1965: The boundary of Aley Green changed when then hamlet was entirely brought into Bedfordshire. Prior to that parts had been in Hertfordshire.
