7 Gravenhurst Road was listed by English Heritage in January 1985 as Grade II, of special interest. It dates from the 17th century and is timber-framed though the lower part of the gable end has been rebuilt in brick and colour-washed, with colour-washed roughcast render applied elsewhere. It comprises two storeys. The tiled roof and glazed door are 20th century century.

The Rating and Valuation Act 1925 specified that every building and piece of land in the country was to be assessed to determine its rateable value. The valuer who visited this property found that it was owned and occupied by J. Bunker. The property was divided into two floors, with a living room and kitchen on the lower floor and two bedrooms above. Outside there was a brick and tile 'washouse' attached and a barn in the garden. The valuer noted that it was 'square' and 'old' [DV1/C185/18].
