Primitive Methodists in Barton-le-Clay

A Primitive Methodist Church was in existence by 1871. The church was amalgamated with Sharpenhoe Road Methodist Church in 1944 and the chapel was sold [ref: MB2/BAR1/6/572]. The Circuits for the Primitive Church were Luton Primitive from 1871 to 1879 and Luton Primitive I (High Town) from 1879 to 1944.
