Primitive Methodists in Barton-le-Clay

A Primitive Methodist Church was in existence by 1871 and was registered by John Henry James Beckhurst on 3rd November 1876. The church was amalgamated with Sharpenhoe Road Methodist Church in 1944 and the chapel was sold [ref: MB2/BAR1/6/572]. The Circuits for the Primitive Church were Luton Primitive from 1871 to 1879 and Luton Primitive I (High Town) from 1879 to 1944.
