This 1783 memorial from  planters and merchants interested in Tobago addressed to Lord Grantham. proposes the restoration of Tobago to England, or establishing favourable terms with France. [ref.L29/597]

This is part of the correspondence and papers of Thomas Robinson, 2nd Baron Grantham (1738-1786) when he was  Foreign Secretary (1782-1783), deposited here as part of the Lucas of Wrest Park, Silsoe collection.
