Why are these documents at Bedfordshire & Luton Archives?
G/DDA collection are records of the Bute Estate at Luton. They were deposited here in 1965 and 1967 by Glamorgan County Record Office, to whom they had been given to by Arthur Andrews Esq.,of Cardiff, whose father acquired them some years previously at a public auction. Second deposit December 1967 by Glamorgan County Record Office.
The correspondence of the Burrows family of Clophill is from part of a collection of documents deposited in the 1930s and 1940s by Webber & Williams, Solicitors of Ampthill ref.WE.
