Gaol Registers

Levi Welch [QGV10-4-150]

Our online database is a transcript of the surviving registers for Bedford Gaol and House of Correction.  The database currently covers 1770-1904 and new records are added each month. Only 172 of the 45,000 entries in the registers included photographs.  Please note that recent versions of Internet Explorer will not work with the database and searches will return no results. If this happens please use an alternative browser.
