Prehistoric and Iron Age Harlington

The Bedfordshire Historic Environment Record [HER] contains information on the county's historic buildings and landscapes and summaries of each entry can now be found online as part of the Heritage Gateway website

Little evidence has so far been found of ancient occupation in Harlington. The Historic Environment Record mentions only two archaeological finds. These are a neolithic flint end scraper found near the parish boundary with Westoning [HER3662], and an isolated pit dated to the early-middle Iron Age, also in the west of the parish [HER12925].
