Cockayne Hatley is an ancient parish which was amalgamated with Wrestlingworth in 1985. It lies close to the border with Cambridgeshire with Bedford 13 miles to the west and Cambridge the same distance to the north east. Bedfordshire Archives holds many documents relating to the parish; a search of our online catalogue with Cockayne Hatley as the subject returns approximately 1000 items.
